Priming fuel pump for R6602

On my gas powered M52 the fuel pump has a lever to prime the fuel pump and push fuel up to the carb(Not the primer pump to push fuel into the manifold). Was there a kit to do this from the cab. It is very difficult to get to, and with not running it but every month means a lot of cranking until the engine fires.

the only time you need to use that lever is when you run out of gas. i had a truck that did that, the check valve inthe fuel pump was bad. rebuild or replace your pump.
