is there an easy way to print a post without printing the whole thread ????

Highlight the text you want to print (click and drag your mouse over it), then on top left corner of page click "file", then "print", then change the print range box from "all" to "selection", then just click ok.

I like highlighting what I need and copying it and pasting it into a word file.

Is there a way to print a thread to a file to store on my PC? Pictures and words. I was able to do it on a tablet once before. I can't seem to do this on my current electronics.

You can save it as a pdf file on Windows computer, which will include all text and pictures. Click file at top left of screen, then click print. In the print dialog box change printer to Microsoft Print to PDF. This will save all pages as a pdf file.
