I have seen a number of trucks with a "PMP" plate attached. I have not been able to find out what is upgraded or replaced in the PMP process. Is there a TM or list of items that are checked or replaced? When the PMP is completed, is the truck upgrade for example from a 931 to a 931A1 or 931A2?

To answer your second question, no, this was never done at depot level (i.e. replace the 250 Cummins with the 6CTA, etc). In the case of the 900 series 5 tons, the PMP seems to be just sandblast, paint, new coolant hoses, new radiator, new upholstry, new tires, oil and filter changes, wheel bearing/brake service. All the maintenance that is being ignored at the unit level.
