Proper location for a Bridge Plate on a HUMVEE (M1045/2003)

Wondering the correct location for a Bridge Plate on a Humvee. Ive seen on the hood as well as on the brush guards. Which is the most correct? Assuming either but leaning toward the hood at this point.

either location is acceptable, it just had to be visible to the MP at the Bridge crossing…they is no “it must be mounted here” rule, but for a hmmwv, I’ve seen half mounted to the hood and the other half to the front grill, both positions offset to the passenger side.
