Proper paint colors

Howdy all...
I'm about to start sanding, treating rust, and repainting. Is there a rattle-can OD green paint out there that isnt so dark??
I'm not sure about the final paint job.....My buddy suggested over all black with green tiger stripes. I kinda like it...something different.
Any suggestions.....comments would be awesome!!

Check with Mark at RAPCO. He stocks Gillispie Coatings which generally make the best MV paint in my opinion.
