Using measurements and pics provided by members here and an actual under cab brace provided by another member, I am constructing a proto-type winch bracket and shield plus making some accurate replica under cab braces and j-bolt.

Is anyone interested in having one or more of these for their M135/M211?

New pto cables are available, drive shaft and u-joints are tractor supply stuff and the pillow bearing available commercially. With these brackets, brace and a modified transfer lever the M135/M211 should easily take on a winch. The winch mounting brackets are available from Alfa Heaven at a low price.

I am also thinking of making new stone shields as shown on Fig. 302, TM 9-8024. No price on that as I do not know if there is any interest in them.

80% of GMC stone shields are badly damaged or MIA and Alfa no longer has them. I'd say there would be interest if the $ was right.

I doubt the cost will be much. And, being a vulture capitalist, I expect to make big money, maybe even enough to cover the cost of making ten or so.
