PTO Part

My PTO is missing the poppet ball for the shifting rail. I have tore apart some old bearings trying to find one that will work but all were too small.

Does anyone know where I can possibly find one local and have any information on the correct size? I have no clue how the size is determined other than possibly an OD measurement.

A quick trip to Auto Zone got the usual RCA dog look.

Thanks in advance.

Hold on for a minute...

OK, it's a 1/2" OD.
(Was looking for a possible donor bearing# but couldn't find one that quick.)

Of course, I could send you that exact"spare part" per mail... LOL

gringeltaube,
Thanks so much!!! I was thinking it needed to be pretty big to keep from falling out.

If you don't mind me asking, what is gringletaube? Sounds like a great magical, mystical beast!!

Thanks again. Now if I can find one local.

LOL.... never thought about it. Nothing magical, it's just my surname plus the "g" from Gerhard...
Ringeltaube is a wild dove species very common in European woods. Apparently back in the 15th century some old German decided to adopt this as his surname, who knows...
