Question about handbrake cable

I'm currently working on the vehicle cab and have a question about the routing of the handbrake cable. There is part 14 in the TM and I no longer know where to mount it. The hole pattern fits in the cab so that I could screw the plate on from below. But then I kink the handbrake cable. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of this spot at the time and the TM isn't helpful either.

Any ideas or pictures are welcome.

On my truck, it just sits on the edge of the storage box, not attached to anything.
