For those of you that have had or have both the M35A2 & M36A2.

Is your M36A2 noticeably slower?

I ask because mine is so much different from it's little brother.
Sure the M36 is 2,200lbs heavier to start with but I'm wondering if my 1972 motor is geetting tired.

M36A2 w/ 11/72 1-C motor, D turbo, fuel turned up / pyro hits 1100°F pre turbo
M35A2 w/ 87 1-D motor, D turbo, FDC bypassed

the M36 has 1100 XL's on it now but it was still slow with the 900-20's

My M36A2 goes 55 mph all day long. Check fuel filters (all three), fuel tank's pump pressure, smoke, etc. I put Lucas
in all gear boxes and that quited it down and speeded it up some, too. Also, she runs a litter faster in cooler weather.

Good luck,
Orren

The M36 I had (and sold to SCSG-G4) seemed to run as fast as my other deuces......he put his car up in the back and drove it
home. He said it did fine.

Yours may just need a tune up as per the above suggestions.....might consider turning some fuel to it if it is not turning at least
2800 RPM.

I should have said quicker instead of faster, I guess.
Once she's going, she cruises fine and you have to watch your speed/RPM's

Perhaps the injector timing is part of the lack of acceleration, I'll have to read up on that.
