Question on bumper codes for the 77th maintenance co

A friend of mine wants to paint the historically correct bumper codes on his deuce as for the last unit his vehicle served with.
The now inactive unit was stationed in Darmstadt - Babenhausen (Germany) and had the following hierarchical data:

V-Corps
3rd support command
16th support group
485th corps support batallion
77th maintenance company

I tried to use the TB-746-93-1 to come up with a suggestion but I'm not sure what to use of the data as bumpercodes, because the TB offers only 4 basic categories (including the vehicle numbers) as designation.
I came up with

16GP 485SPT 77MT 99 (99th vehicle, for example).

Would that be correct? Any opinions?

Thanks,
Mark

The support Battalion would be abbreviated "CSB", and the "16GP" might be omitted, depending on whether the "77MT" is with the owning unit ID (on the left when you read it) or the line of march (on the right when reading it)

In my Engineer unit, 1438th Engineer Detachment, the unit number was on the right, i.e. 1438-23.

I was the first enlisted soldier to be assigned to the 77th Maintenance Company when it was reactivated in the early 1980's. I have several pics of vehicles if that will help you with your restoration.

I also created a Facebook group for the 77th Maintenance Company. Do a search on facebook and join the group!
