Hello I am new hear and have a few questions about this Humvee tag. Based on this tags information can you tell me what year this Humvee is and if there is anything special about it? Thanks for your help!
Can't tell much from the data plate as to what year it is.
The data plate too me has some oddities to it.
There is no delivery date shown.
The different #'s shown on the Serial # line is odd with nothing shown on the registration line.
Odd sized rivets holding data plate on.
I'd say it's pretty early from the 8 bolt rims.
I'm guessing it doesn't have a park position on the shifter.
Looks like a 60 amp alternator.
Probably a 6.2 with a 242 transfer case. (correction 218 transfer case looking at the tag on it) also it shows it was rebuilt in 92 why would they put an older transfer case in a 2006 truck?
No fording kit so probably was not a marine corps truck
Is it being sold as a registered vehicle with existing license plates ? Does it have license plates ?
Is it being sold with just a title / or just a bill of sale?
Does it come with a SF97 ? What does the SF97 say on it?

Haha...dealer is on crack.
i would never buy a hmmwv from a “car dealer”
go buy a truck on CL or get on one of the FB forums...
there are a lot of trucks out there for sale at 15k in nicer shape.
I have to agree with RWH . I'd pass on it for that kind of money. I think you could get more truck for less money.
Do your homework.
Read through the entire sticky section at the top of the HMMWV section.
Good luck in your search.

2006? LOL.
It clearly has 2012 painted in the door jamb!
It does not have park. Doesn't the T/C tag show 1987?
Should the serial number on the rebuild tag match the data plate?
Ask to see the title, and see what year, make, and model are on it.
