I am working on FCC license. What would be the best way to get basic radio communication installed with the equipment I already have shown below? I have the military antenna also. Civilian or surplus? Thanks

Mt 6352 is a base for a sincgars radio. It can take a single radio or a different adapter slides into it for a doublestack radio with an amp. There are a few models of sincgars. They are pricey and hard to find. The ls-671 speaker is typically also used with them. I am not a ham so my knowledge is very limited. I basically built a dummy radio and used a sincgars simulator to make my "display" set up on my hmmwv. See Juan's m998.

Lots of background info on prc68 website
