I agree they were few and far between, but I did have a RT-524 in my Deuce at Camp Hunter Liggett, 6/74-12/75. In fact, each platoon had 3 or 4 Deuces with 524's installed. Go figure.Crazy thing is - with three years in the Army (1968-1971) stationed at Ft Knox, Ft. Lee, Atlanta Army Depot, Ft Bragg, and a tour in Viet Nam, I never saw a radio in an M35 - except PRC-25s hanging in some cabs.
After saying that, I have a AN/VRC-64 with a VIC-1 in my M35A3....!!

The larger the caliber the farther the range......the .50 cal "PRIC 88" will get out over ten miles.Where would one began to look for a radio of these caliber.
