What's the possibility that it's has different Dot fluids in the system? Will using Dot 3-4 instead of Dot5 have an impact on the expansion of hydraulic to cause this behavior?

It's dot 5. I checked it. Mixed a sample from the master cylinder with water. It looked like the oily salad dressing when I shook it up. Then I took some dot 3 and mixed with water, it turned cloudy and blended together. Then I mixed another sample from the master cylinder with dot 3, they did not mix, one floated on top the other. It's definitely dot 5 that was in there.
