Rear window seal lock

I searched high and low for a rear window seal lock. Mine was rotted into a bajillion pieces. McMaster PN 1350N19 is the best fit that I have found. You'll need slightly over 6ft per window. This is a .21" diameter rubber rod, durometer 75A. 1/4" is too big.

Stock one looks about like this but the one I found was far too small.

Neat Tool for installing the lock is about $10. There are better and there are really flimsy ones too.
No such thing as "too much slickum" when you try to install it.



AND yes, I am hiring the installation on my windshield. I have installed plenty of small glass - with new rubber.

Unfortunately, mine is old and I am hoping for the best. If it doesn't work out right, the guy who will install mine
will most likely have more gasket material on his truck.

Figured it might be useful to know what the tool for the lock strip might be useful...
