I am not surprised he charged me I am surprised the guy I was trying to pull out left me with the bill when it was his idea that got me stuck in the first place.

I hope he at least had to pay to get his own dumb arse out.

I definitely learned a lesson. Speaking that Case costing someone money... I had to pay him to come get me out which made it even better.

I had a truck stuck for two weeks once! Caveat to Murphy's Law:The bigger/heavier the vehicle multiplies the problem when it gets stuck X a factor of ten.

This is why I rarely go pull out stuck vehicles anymore unless they are paying or are a very close friend. Seems like you always end up worse off than the guy you were trying to help. Also, most of the time they are somewhere they shouldn't be (trespassing) and doing something stupid when they call me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping somebody when they are in a bind but as Ron White says "you can't fix stupid".
