Just got turned onto this buy a coworker. Use a company like staab agency to register it in Maine for less than in my home state and they will get you a title.

Lots of people use Maine for trailer regiistrations. The Maryland clown frown upon out of state tagged trailers as they know that you are atempting to circumvent the high in state tag fees.

My M101 trailers titled and two year tagged, cost me over $200 when all is said and done.

Maine offers a five year tag for around $80, not a hard decision when it comes to money. Not sure if they accept a SF-97 or if you need to get a title first.

The two M101a3 trailers I got Friday will be getting Virginia permanat tags once I get the SF-97s and transfer the Maryland titles to Virginia.
