Removing MEP-802A Crank Pulley

Hey gang, the title says it all... except I cannot find any information regarding left or right hand thread in the TM's. (Perhaps I've missed it) I have a huge Snap-On torque wrench with adapter can achieve 1200 lb ft of force. I just don't want to shear off the crank bolt. SOOOOO.... is it righty tighty lefty loosie or other way 'round? Seems like the water pump pully is left handed.

My notes say:

Crankshaft Bolt (LH Thread): CUMMINS POWER GENERATION INC. Cage 44940
NSN 5305-01-361-6562, SCREW,CAP,HEXAGON HEAD, Onan 186-6196, Cummins 186-6196 Left hand threads, Class 12.9, Size looks to be an m16x1.50, about 30 millimeters long not counting the head.

Confirm in TM using NSN and Onan/Cummins part number.

Torque from ARMY TM 9-2815-252-24: Crankshaft Pulley bolt (left hand thread) 198.9 221.0 243.1

Left hand threads. Opposite of righty tight.

Often using an air powered impact wrench (carefully!) will loosen a "stuck" bolt when a wrench or a "pull handle" and a socket doesn't work. The hammering action of the impact wrench will often remove a bolt when other methods won't work. Again be careful. Start out at the lowest torque setting of the impact wrench. I hope this helps.

Another trick for finding info is using Parttarget: https://www.parttarget.com/5305-01-...ption=nsn&originalsearchtext=5305-01-361-6562

Punching in the NSN will give you the various manufacturers and the part numbers. Punching in the part number will give you the NSN. Note the end use equipment is also listed: 5 and 10 KW generator, Tqg. However, nothing about it being LH thread.....still need that TM.
