Hello,

How do I remove the pin that holds the red and yellow haldex air brake valve in place? Is there a name of tool required?

Real pain in the A. I have had to tap them out with a long thin punch. There is probably a tool somewhere to do it right. Some do not want to come out you have to break them.

Find the allenhead size wrench to fit in it snugly, cut the elbow off and then knock it out. If you replace the whole valve the new one will have a push/spring lock setup.

Just drill it out slowly stepping up the sizes as you do it?
I kind of took this approach. Just cut the head off for now. It was getting in the way of progress. I'll have to replace with push pin style later. Truck will stay parked for a while.
