Repair of M101A1 cable harness?

Can the trailer harness be repaired? I have two pins pushed into the harness. The part I am referring to is "intervehicular cable, NSN 6150008306672. Page 3-1 of the TM. I am willing to give it a try, whats the worse that can happen. If I break it any more I still have to replace it.

Yes it can be taken apart. loosen the clamp at the back end of the connector and grab the connector in one hand and the cable in the other and push them together. The metal sleeve that holds all the pins should push out of the front of the connector. You can work the pins back in place once its out. You may have to take some silicone spray lube and a small screwdriver and work it down inbetween the steel sleave and the connector.
