Replace knuckle boot procedure

After driving the deuce yesterday, I noticed grease on the inside of the passenger side front tire. Closer inspection showed the boot to be torn
with lubricant coming out. I have a new set of boots that came with the truck, but would like advice from someone who has replaced them. Is it a bear to do it...or easier than it looks?

Here is the procedure according to PS magazine.
I have done it and it can be a bit frustrating. To seal the zipper, I used a silicone based sealer, GOOP, which works really well and should be available at your local building supply or hardware store.

be prepared to get greasy, alot greasy. ive replaced mine four times, both sides. its not hard, just make sure the boots are turned the right way. on the boots it will say "TOP", and make sure it is. and make sure your inner and outer clamps are fully seated in the grooves. if everything is right, it will not leak grease, but you will be able to tell if is not sealed right, cause you will see some grease leaking onto the inner wheel.
