Replacement Fast/High Idle Solenoid?

My high idle stopped working. Tested it per the TMs and determined the solenoid has failed.

I have not had any luck finding a new replacement. (The only one I can find for sale is a take-off from Hillbilly Wizard).

Can anyone point me to an available replacement?

Happy Thanksgiving. At 35 years parts either work or the don't work. new, used, Imports, rebuilds, rebuilt, remanufactured. What ever. Parts are parts. If the fit and work they are golden. Good Luck. I hope it all works out.

The GM replacement part number is 14066255. It is a discontinued part, however one occasionally pops up on Ebay. If I were you, I would take Rick's advice above and reach out to John at Hillbilly Wizard and ask for a good used unit. http://www.hillbillywizard.com/

A sizable lot of them just sold out on eBay.
I intended to buy one for a spare, forgot about it and missed out.

Amazon used to have them but that is no longer the case.

I was looking for a new one for a spare. I just went to all three sites posted to purchase with no Joy. I guess I will have to wait in till GP or Ebay sells a large lot of electrical supplies again.

I will have my contact at AC/Delco check the number or for a change in availability. Seems to me that I have never replaced mine and maybe I should get one for grins.

Every time I start my diesels I check to see that it has engaged the throttle pedal and when the air cleaner is off I check for contact as the contact has a habit of vibrating loose.

Those on eBay could be from that.
