So I think most everyone who deals with the 24V L and F head engines knows the reputation of the repro coils (easily identified due to their chrome exterior plating) to be just awful.
I have a customer with a dead coil in an M38A1. I hate to sell him one of these awful chrome coils only to have it die in a few months.
A friend of mine said he thought there was somebody selling a better quality coil but he couldn't remember who it was or how to identify the better ones.
Can any of you with experience make a recommendation for me?
