resistor bypass/ nato jumper cable

I did the resistor glow plug bypass on my 1028, and got to thinking can I still use my nato slave cables to jump start another cucv or duece, or 5 ton. Will taking off the gp resistor affect hoe the nato slave cables work?

It will not effect on your ability to jump other vehicles. with your CUCV

It could hinder the ability to jump your CUCV, if the front battery were to be absolutely dead/open circuited. (not likely)

shouldnt they go to the wire block on firewall not to the resistor. I put in a push button for my glow plugs and my nato port still works no reisistor or card in mine.
