looks like GP added another running m1165a1 with doors in GA. I had the listing up and it said opening bid was 35,100.00, then i refreshed the window and it said 4,000.00. Wonder what that glitch was all about? Should be fun to see what it goes for....those trucks can go for crazy money!
Perhaps winning bid previously was 35,100.00 and someone flaked and didn’t pay so it got relisted.

also possible it glitched and showed what the current highest bid is, as most of the truck auctions will only show what the bid level is at during the last 5 minutes

Is that some type of vent on the back wall of the truck?

Not sure, but someone got a good deal on that truck. Damn.
I’m a novice, but the value of these trucks seems all over the map. I haven’t noticed much of a pattern as to why yet. I’m guessing that one above went so low bc of the VIN? This one seemed in way worse shape, started at 1500, but went higher:

this one runs but bad trans I’ll be interested to see what it goes for:

What’s the differences with some of the ECV models that are pre 258xxx serial range. ????

like this 1165 which went fairly cheap. It’s a 250xxx. https://www.govplanet.com/jsp/s/item/3534078
I had already bid on a stripped down 1165 that went to $4500. If I had know that I would of bid on this one. I watched this one but thought I'd win the other one for $3000.

I guess someone just wanted the roof and back panel more than me. That's all I wanted!

That truck did go cheap at $3500 but it needs at least 8-10K worth of visible repairs, assuming the radiator can be repaired without replacement.

Very often, the non-runners have some minimal problems and can be brought back to life cheaply. Then again, some just need engine and tranny replacements. It's a crapshoot.

The REV B trucks will command a premium, but all HMMWVs are kind of sinking now price-wise.

I'm starting to think that everyone who wants a HMMWVW has one. It's likely just guys like us bidding against ourselves on a 2nd or 3rd or shops bidding to complete builds while they already have ample inventory. However, the minute the masses finds out about these auctions the price will spike once again.

Sale price of $3,500 or free (both sound great). Doesnt really matter. Most of these trucks are missing major components and will require $$ and hours of labor. Depends on what the purchaser wants..... farm truck, rock crawler, authenticity, somewhere in between. Either way, they better be willing to invest the time and money. It's my hobby, so I can see the appeal.

SN above 300k are REV truvks…so they bring a premium, GFD, Wilwood brakes, 3 piece frame rails, MP2225 Tcase…many builders are using
this platform for builds as its top of the food chain.
Do you know about the ones that are sub 258xxx? Some are 250xxx and saw one that’s 249xxx. They are 1165s but I thought the ECV all started at 258xxx so maybe there’s slight differences?

They are Pre-REV, they have Sheppard steering gears…
for all intent, anything below 300k is an ECV, only 300k and above are REV.

Speculation on my part but we have only seen USMC come out. There is still all the other branches that will eventually leak out. Another member posted about his efforts to get others models released by DLA and I think that is why we see the m1097r1 US Army units now and others in the future.
Just SWAG on my part and YMMV.
