Reverse light for a deuce

Do any of you electric gurus think I'll have any trouble running a 1amp reverse light of the BO
drive circuit?

I added a light just below the frame on the left side. Can barely see it in the attachment. I have a switch to turn it on but was thinking of adding a pressure switch to the top of the transmission to make contact when the shifter is in reverse. would have to run it off the light switch service side.

Jed, I'm supplying the power to it from the tail light circuit (wire #21) and switching with a microswitch on the transmission.

so I shouldn't have any problem, I don't want to wire in a switch having it on the BO circuit will work fine for me.
