Sorry to revive a "dead" thread, I just found it! El Paso reporting in here. I haven't had a chance to go through all 17 pages to see who all is here just yet. It's late and I work tomorrow. Maybe this weekend.

Welcome. There are a few of us. I off-road east of town between Horizon and the Clint cutoff. Before rona, we would gather at Elephant Butte. Many of El Paso’s big MV truck owners store their trucks at the Butte.

Awesome, I don't have any trucks but I have seen the EB5T group on FB. Love watching them recover stuck vehicles out there. Saw when they lost that LMTV into the lake a couple years ago. I think they were talking about scrapping it. I commented on there that I would buy it and fix it if that were the case. At that time, that was about the only way I'd be able to get my hands on an LMTV and I've always wanted one. Never saw what they ended up doing with it. I'm out near Chaps and play around on McGregor range quite often. I was just out there last night watching all the activity actually.

Those guys at EB are the reason I got into these in the first place. The wife and would be trolling past where there were several big trucks and camping trailers out on beach where no one else could get to with RV’s. I tell the wife we just got to have one. She agrees we should get one. I have now had six total and still have three in the yard.

One of these days I'll set aside the cash to spend on one. I'm in the process of buy my (hopefully last) genset today. After I have that out of my system (grew up in S. Florida), I would really like to start looking into an LMTV
