running the h2 8 spoke alum wheels?

any one running the h2 8 spoke alum. rims on their Humvee or h1>

My understanding is that they would be pushed out very far from offset, like 2” farther each side. My hmmwv is plenty wide enough already. So they only options are very expensive Cepek and very VERY expensive Hutchinson wheels. Bummer for the hummer.

It will depend on what rims you get but I just measured the rims on my Humvee and H2. The HMMWV has Dick Cepek 17” steel wheels with 3 1/4” offset. The H2 has Ultra Motorsports 17” aluminum rims and measure 3 3/4” from hub to outside edge. I had trouble getting straight down pictures so the measurements in the pictures is angled and slightly off. The measurements listed above are from hub on the backside of the rim to outside edge.

This h2 wheel seems to have a very high positive offset.
