Sand sand and more sand...

Every time I take a hose to my M1152A1 I get sand washing out of everywhere. I take it Ill never get all of the sand out ... Its like my own little Socal beach...

I spent hours taking sand out of the cab of the funvee. Took out multiple buckets of sand out. After a year of driving around and washing. Still pulled out another bucket of sand from behind the rear passenger seat. All those little braces and supports. Found a bunch of old fuses and assorted ear plugs and spent cases. I’m guessing it will never end but it will always tell new stories.

I got lucky. Just some GA clay, a ton of spent rounds, and some sort of night vision controller was all I found in mine.

My daughter collected the sand from the humvee into a bag because it is original moondust.

I in power washed my at least a dozen time and never got it out. Ended up painting over it lol

Mine stood in the desert in Bastow from its rebuild in 2009 until 2022. I could start a cactus farm from the sand that came out of there
