Trying to save some Deuce and 5 ton parts from going to the scrapyard. A guy local to me is currently scraping out a couple trucks.

What he has left is:
3 Deuce softtop cabs, canvas is shot, bows looked ok
3 Deuce beds with troop seats, 1 has cargo cover
M814 Hardtop Cab, bed, and fenders
2 sets of Deuce axles
M62 5 ton Hardtop Wrecker - engine and axles are sold, believe all the winches are also
2 possibly 3 Duece radiators - dont know what condition

All the trucks have sat for the last 15-20 years so some parts have a decent amount of surface rust
Engines are sold!

You're probably going to have to repost these in the classified's, they frown on ads in the discussion forums.

I'm interested in the data plates and instrument clusters.
Data plates are almost all completly shot, the M35 and M62 data plates are all sun faded to the point you cant read anything but the shift pattern, the M814 had a couple good ones. I'll see tomorrow about the instrument clusters, the M62 doesnt have one and the other 4 are missing all of the lights.

Also all the switches are gone also; three lever light switch, turn signal, ignition, and start.

I heard (read) M62. Thats a hefty number to be throwing around...
Says M62 on the bent and faded data plate. I do know its a 5 ton wrecker with the LDS, unfortunately its already sold, along with the 3 LDTs and NHC250.
What do they want for the axles? Might be nice to have an extra around just in case.
I will find out tomorrow how much he wants for them and if they are still available, he did have a guy interested in them.
Any good wiring harnesses on the M35?
All the wiring on the M35s is shot, courtesy of mice and 15 years of being rained and snowed on. I got one good turn signal switch harness and three lever light switch connector out of 4 cabs. Plus the wiring got all cut up when they removed the cabs.

Please just let him know that this stuff isn't made anymore and the guys with the trucks would JUMP at the chance to buy them for scrap price, if not a little more. I'm sure he knows, but it never hurts to put it out there.
