I saw some posts on the interweb of a guy that was in-process of making a radio remote control M35 . . . not sure if he ever finished.

Anyone seen one?

A bunch of my Jeep friends bought the following and customized them to make "mini me"s. Would be cool if there was an articulating 6x6 . . .

I wonder if I just gave away a million dollar idea again . . .

These trucks are great, but only for a short time.

I bought one for my kid and it fell apart, then I replaced it, and it happened again. Same problem. Im talking internal problems, not abuse. I took it back to Walmart 3 times and exchanged it. The end result was I was out $100 and the last one I got broke as well. I ended up throwing it away, well except for the tires which I use on my Emax.

I tried to contact the manufacturer and was unable to get any response either by the phone or the internet. Dont buy one if you can find them.

Great Idea, bad followthru.

Look into the Traxxas Emax (or Tmaxx) they are easy to mod into a 6x6, there are actually info out there as to how to do it.

Yeah that's the site I was trying to remember earlier!! I like his approach.. using a Tamiya semi with a TLT front axle... now you could use a Hi-lift trans/transfer case but if I remember correctly that guy custom built his own transfer case. So there's your running gear.. all off the shelf and fairly scale... That just leaves you to custom fab a body for it and you're all set.

Personally... I'd like to see a scale Hemtt... Or.. even better.. a scale Tatra, including scale drivetrain. But then we're talking someone with a bunch of machine skills.. and LOTS of $$$$

That is awesome! It's been a couple years since I've played with my R/C trucks so I haven't really kept up with it. Wonder how much he wants to make another.. lol.
