Seal between NP208 and TH400

I've been tearing through the TMs, and MULTIPLE times, I go to look for a part, and it shows, let's say, 1-12 parts labelled in the figure, but will only display parts 6,7, and 8.. Look in the index, and same thing.

This has happened numerous times, and it's driving me insane. I can't trust parts places around here because all they want is yr/make/model and half the time they get me the wrong stuff even WITH that info.

So, if anyone has an idea what that part is, I'd appreciate it.

Also, off hand, anyone know which line on the trans, and trans cooler, are in/out? I'm trying to flush and check for flow restrictions. Thanks.

Quick question/th400 pressure cooling line

Which is the pressure cooling line on the TH400 trans, and does it go to the top or bottom of the radiator? (I have had a cooler installed that bypasses the radiator, and I want to include the radiator in series with the external cooler.)
