Thanks to a Unimog Forum member, General Hood, who located a stash of previously unobtainable wiring diagrams, another forum member had one scanned and made available to all.

The diagram appears to cover only the equipment when it left the Mercedes factory, therefore much of the add on equipment associated with the backhoe and rear hydraulics are not shown This would include the remote throttle, rear platform light, remote bucket operator, hydraulic oil cooler and the hydraulic hose reel. Attached is the civi cab tilt instructions. The TM says nothing about the Cab Tilt Bracket. Also the TM is not clear on unsnapping the hand brake cable can cover. You need to extrapolate the instructions that apply to us.

Note: be sure to mark the steering shaft alignment before unhooking it.

I use a ratchet strap tied to the roll bar and the lifting ring below the back window and an other strap as a safety so I don't overshoot when tilting.

This file is not a official document, it is collection of extracted maintenance and operation tips from the PS Magazine indexed.
