OK, I've got the pyro and boost gauges in and need to setup the lighting for the instruments. I have a 24 to 12v converter to use for the pyro power and for an accessory outlet. I want the instrument lights to work with the master lighting switch !

So, I understand that I need to wire the two gauges in series. Just to make sure I understand:

I'm going to tap off of one of the instrument back lights for power so that the lights will work with the master switch. So, I take the single wire and run it to the positive connector on one gauge and the negative on the other gauge. Then on the first gauge I run a wire from the negative over to the positive on the second gauge and then to ground.

Is this correct ?

Thanks, an electrically challenged Deuce lover

No. You will run the 24v to the "+" on the first light. You will run the "-" from the first light to the positive on the second. You will run the "-" on the second light to ground.

This is how my pyro and boost gauge lights are wired.

If one bulb burns out it breaks the circuit and they both go out. I guess you could call that bad but nothing a new bulb can't fix.
