Hey guys can any of you tell me if this shaft is to a deuce or something that someone made up. It came withe the winch that someone cobbled together on my halftrack. Was wondering if it is the pto shaft. Thanks

Looks a lot like the PTO shaft we removed from a deuce a couple of weeks ago. Exactly how long is it?

Sorry I don't know and the shaft is in Pa right now but it was about 5 feet long give or take a few inches. Maybe even closer to 6

I can't tell what is on the bottom end... Splines? Doesn't look like a deuce winch shaft to me, the shaft for the multifuels is thicker and necks down near the splined end to clear the bell housing. The shaft for gassers is thicker all the way down. Seems a little long too.

Maybe it's for the hydraulic pump on a wrecker or something? It should have a part number on it somewhere, that will tell all.
