Lol nope no rattles. An ammo can isnt the most acoustically ideal enclosure for a stereo but its cool and you can really knock it around and not have to worry. In board battery and charger. Just plug it in overnight to charge and you can play it wide open for about 12-14 hrs. Ipod goes inside so you can just grab it and go.
I'd record about 5 min of silence, then an M16 on full auto. Turn the can around so you can't see the speakers, then invite my friends into the garage to 'show' them something. when it goes off, just say, well, I new that ammo was getting touchy!
I listen to metal and classic rock mostly in my shop. If I ever get one bigger than a single car garage, I have a nice set of JBL and TOA monitors to put in there. I'm a big fan of music while working.
