Repurposed MEP-362A trailer used to mount my MEP-831A generator. Second one is 2009 repurposed M116A3 trailer made into a welding rig trailer.
MEP trailer towed by my Polaris Ranger and/or Ford F-150. M116A3 towed by F-150.

Very Nice! All I can biotch about is I would have made
angle iron frames under the ammo cans etc. and Rapcoparts.com
sells the proper paint to rattle can all into submission.

I bought this 1953 m101 earlier this year and fixed it up to tow behind my m37. I changed the original lights to the more modern composite lights with 2 taillights and put in a newer wiring harness. I had a 1962 m101a1 that was restored to match the truck but I decided to keep the m101 instead because it was really clean underneath and you don't see them as often as the m101a1s.

What is the difference inbetween a m101 and a m101a1?
The m101 has parking brake handles mounted inside the a-frame that move side to side and the brake parts inside the drums are different. They also have the earlier light set-up with a single stop light on the left and a blackout light on the right. M101a1s would have 2 taillights with a separate blackout stoplight from the factory in the early 60s and later would have the larger composite lights I think.

Derrick - that flatbed looks a little 'down hill' (not a complaint - follow my train of thaught..) Maybe it would be a great trailer for a M916A1, which has a 60"+ fifthwheel height that makes any 'civi' trailer look stoopid. Though the TM only refers to M870/M172 lowbeds and water distributors.

What do you think the kingpin height would be if the trailer were level?
