So I started in on the converting my M35 to singles. I'm stuck now because I need to get the brakes relined on the shoes. I put a dial caliper on them and they're right at and under .3".
I had a hub put back together and Clint asked about brake shoe thickness and I checked it in the inspection hole and naturally it needed to be replaced. So, short of extra jack stands, I'll have to wait on the right side wheels. I'll probably get one of my RR ties and break down the front's to get at those so I can re-do the boots while I'm waiting on the shoes for the left side to be relined.
What's a good price for shoes to be relined?
