Actually it was yesterday and today.....

Derusted and painted Big Bertha.....

I like the results.

I gotta say though, taking the spare off was a..... well.... we need to keep it at least PG here so... fill in the blank.

Once again my lovely patient girlfriend only threw 1 wrench at me, so I consider that a success!!!

Looks nice! It just looks "tougher" than when she was tan.

Now if a fella had a scrub brush and applied it to those tires... :)
Of course that could be "Masking Mud" that is special made for painting.

Careful! You do that once, she expects it every time! Moderate the expectations!
But...a fellow could level that front bumper because it makes ME twitch......OCD....OCD......

I never noticed that.... now.... I'm twitching..... o_O

I pointed it out to my g/f and she unequivocally stated "It can wait! I don't wanna look at that truck for a WEEK!"
.
That means same time next week, you are on a mission!
Maybe your GF needs to sit in a lawn chair in front of the truck and help you get that bumper lined up

This is what happens when someone drinks too much beer. The female hormones in the beer lead to complaining about small things. Like tires. If this sounds like I have had one too many, it is.

Or just leave the bumper as-is and come up with a story about why it's crooked. It gives the truck character! Maybe it was a lifting accident with a Chinook or a Jolly Green Giant. Tied down too tightly to a transport flatbed car on one side? Rowdy party on base? Or aliens...
