Soft top install

Quick question- I’m installing a new soft top and I’m running into trouble. How do you get this part in that part? I’m running out of options.

Flip the cover upside down, lay it over the front. Have a helper with you, slide the lip into the channel from the side. Left to right or vice versa doesn't matter... Soapy water to make it more slippery also helps for installing it into the channel.

Yes. Helper, Upside down on hood, silicone spray lube in channel.
