[SOLVED] wiper fluid pump won't turn off

pull the cover...

have you pulled the cover off the wiper motor yet?
remove the plugs and the cover pops off...iirc,there is a solinoid that engages a cam affair on the wiper motor assembly.could be something jamming the works.
Not GM's best design ever... :)

No need take the cover off. The switch is sticking on the steering column. It is a known problem. Replace the switch and it should fix the problem.

Well, I fixed it... I pulled the cover off and cleaned and lubed the plastic wheel with the teeth on it. Also the Square metal thing that stops the arm from pulling the plastic gear was getting stuck.

So with a few q-tips, some WD-40 (for cleaning) and some lube oil it is all working perfectly.
