55° in central Texas this AM. Truck started as expected, little smoke without advance/high idle, but started right up. Planning temp sensors, temp gauge, all the fun stuff.
Slammed the door as usual… and, bamm! I’m in door resto-mode.

Okay, fess up. Did you "slam the door like usual" or did you, "mad at the wife slam the door"???

;)
No, door has sagging hindges of doom and no window channel. I’ve been closing it the same way - less mad, more should have known better… not sure if the temperature had anything to do with it.

Part of the magic of ownership...
No matter what you do or fix, you won't go unpunished.
Something else will be quietly discovered - or - like your door, it will be painfully in your pocket.

Might as well smile. Now you know exactly what needs to be done next :)
Yep, I have a new window and a bunch of door stuff coming. Door/window repair has just moved to the top of the list. Then reseal the top/cap… a little under hood stuff, interior stuff and at some point I’ll spray a little paint. Everyday an adventure.
