I don't drive it much, plan on using it mostly as a snowplow right now. There's a nice looking lifted M1008 that I see around town once in a while, but I haven't talked to the owner yet.

I'm east river in Scotland. Have over 50 military vehicles at my place and tons of parts. Have some CUCV stuff left as well that I'm getting rid of.

Missed this post. Haven't used the plow much, hopefully the weather will be mild this winter and I won't have to. Just got it on the road the end of summer, still sorting out bugs. Having starter issues right now.

I've not spent a ton of time in the city itself.....but fished, several times, on the Oahe Reservoir ( about 6 or 7 miles from Pierre ) and in the Missouri river below the dam. Great fishing.....if you are at all interested in that? It's a huge body of water.....we trolled for salmon and caught walleye. Lots of other outdoor activities to get involved in as well.

Reviving this older thread to see if anyone has formed any sort of group in the northern Black Hills. Although my wife and I have lived here since 2001, I had my M1123 just about for 10 months, been trailriding around the Piedmont and Deadwood area. Wouldn't mind getting together with other HMMWV owners, share tricks and tips.

I've see a black helmet top in Deadwood over the past 2-3 months, another tan 4 door setup in Spearfish.

Most recently I am thinking about installing a 9' V plow onto the rig, still in planning stages, could get a decent plow from a buddy in Rapid City, just waiting for me to pay and pick up. One hindrance is a good workspace, I may need to take it onto Ellsworth to the Auto Hobby shop for the lifts...
