Im looking for some ideas on what to do with the spare tire area on my 923. The 395 is going in the bed so I'm thinking about some sort of large ammo crate or something along those lines. Any ideas and pics would be appreciated

There are nice boxes behind the cab on M series 5 ton dump trucks. They measure 30" deep by 12" wide by 16" high.5 Ton Tool Box.jpg5 T Tool Box.jpg

Inspired by Rayzer's mini-crane on his trailer, ( still amazed ) I am thinking about standing the spare, in a cradle, off the back end (like his cycle is on his post). Imagine a Jeep swing-out but for a 395. The mini-crane to transit the spare between vehicle and ground. But then I don't even have my truck yet so, who knows.

I'm liking those 5 ton dump boxes. I have my tool boxes packed so places for chains and that sort of stuff will be nice. Now to find some

I spec'd out the part numbers then measured my boxes. The 8758142 part number is the size you're looking for. It measures 30"L X 16H X 12W.

I don't know why the TM list two separate part numbers. All the trucks appear to use the same size box.
