Special side mirror - source?

There is a mirror set to look down. It looks like it's to view the front tires. Can anyone tell me more?

Interesting, I hadn't seen that one before. I wonder if that's just a custom thing? It wouldn't be hard to just get a small adjustable mirror and put it on the mirror mount tubes like that.

Never seen one like that. Looks like the back has a 463L pallet on it, or a connex with the same bottom, or at least something similar. Mirror might be so the driver can determine distance from a side loading dock or something while his ground guide/TC is out directing.

Mirrors like that are common to semi's and transit buses for seeing along side the vehicles
