I'm changing out my 3l80 tranny and 242 transfer case on my m998a1. On the transfer case I pulled the speedometer assembly out before noting there are three settings on the assembly. The manual states to match the setting with what is on the transfer case. There is 4 digits on the speedometer assembly. I note the "ratio" on the transfer case stamp but don't see a four digit code. Help??

count the teeth on the plastic gear you pulled out....they also have the # of teeth marked on them.
That is the number you use on the aluminum housing....it has a range of numbers.
