Hello guys,

Some days ago I remove the PTO from my second deuce transmission I bought (yes it has a PTO!)...
But the have install it using short bolts and just one stud!
The result is three of the bolt holes need to be cleaned and the lower center one is missing a small piece...
What is the most recommended way to fix this ? Welding and then drill and tap ?
Btw what is the thread for these holes ?
Case in photo is just for reference.

Thank you!
G

The tread size is 3/8" x16 I think my PTO has all studs and no bolts. Not sure the best way to fix your case.

The studs are 3/8" x16 and the nut end is 3/8" x 24 and OAL 2"

We need a picture showing the damaged area. If there is still any threads left in the case then it probably can be repaired or at least sealed with "ATV" sealant.
