Spindle nut and lock washer???

Got a question about the spindle nut and lock washer. I have an 8 slot spindle nut. I installed new seals and a new lock washer the only thing is only 2 of the tabs will line up on the spindle nut.

Is this right or do I have the wrong lock washer?

Thats correct, only two of the tabs are supposed to be used at a time. Also make sure that the lock washer has black paint on some of the tabs, AMG lock washers have paint and the cheap copies don't and can shear.
