Spring upgrade

Looking to see if anyone velse is having rear spring issues. Our 936 had new rear springs installed 6 years ago and we're having issues again. I see they now have a 17 leaf kit. Wondering WHY and if this would be a good route to go. This is an occasional use truck,it doesn't work everyday

Breaking as you see in the gaps in the pics These were replaced NEW bya local spring shop just under 6 years ago
