Standard issue M1008 rear diff carrier

Hi everyone,

Could anybody tell me what the standard rear axle and differential carrier are for a '85 M1008 or M1028?

Right now I have a 14 bolt with a Detroit Locker which the latter isn't really pleasurable to drive on hard surfaces, I was wondering wether it was stock or not, and what actually should be the factory issued differential carrier.

Also, in the front I have a Dana 60 with a detroit truetrac carrier, if that's of any help.

I still have to check the ratio, i'll update on that.

On a sidenote, do you think that a torsen-style differential carrier like the truetrac would make for a good repleacement choice? the locker is way too loud and clunky for the use that I have for that vehicle
